When No One Seems To Be There

Do you find yourself in situation like these? Everytime you enter the office, people just stop talking and stare at you ‘til you reach your table as if there’s something wrong with you. Or your special someone starts forgetting your special days as if he/she no longer cares for you. Or the sacrifices you’re making for your family is being unnoticed.

There are moments in life that we feel no one cares about us – that even those who are very close to us have turned their back on us. There are countless of reasons why people feel this and having this kind of feeling is natural. I think almost everybody deals with this situation at times.

I know this because I’ve already been there several times. And I know how much that hurts. So if you’re feeling that way now, I want you to know that I understand your situation. I’m writing this because I want to help you cope up with your depression.
It’s very difficult for people to find themselves in a situation where it seems no one is there for them or no one likes them. Aside from the feeling of loneliness, you will even suffer from confusion. What’s wrong with me? Why no one wants to listen to me? Why after the good things I’ve done, they just ignore me? These are only some of the questions people ask when their sad and feeling alone.

But of course, no one would want to be in that miserable condition forever. You would definitely want to get out of that prison of loneliness. But how when the only thing you feel like doing is cry? You’re too upset and mad for getting abandoned when you need someone the most or being treated like that when you know that you’re doing nothing wrong.

Okay, here’s a big revelation.

Do you know why you’re feeling that way – that you feel unloved, unwanted, and unnoticed? Usually, it’s only because of the way you think.

Most people tend to become so negative and imagine things irrationally, which leads to sending off weird vibes and causing other people to react negatively or feel a little off.
The solution is to avoid thinking about things negatively. Start living with a positive mind. Do not become too much focused on what others think about you. Care for yourself first because it’s the most important of all. When you care about yourself, other people will do the same.

And do not worry if someone or some people dislike you. After all, you can never please everyone. In this imperfect world, there will always be people who would want to bring you down and make you miserable, but do not let them conquer you. Show to them that you’re not a person that can easily be destroyed.

Besides, just because someone hates you doesn’t mean no one cares for you anymore. Of course, there is. There’s always is.

And always believe that being there is not permanent. You may be feeling a little worse now, but if you do something and do your job well, you will eventually get better.
