It hurts, obviously.
Being hurt is one of the natural responses of our body when the things we want don't happen the way we wanted them to be. Yes, it's natural! Our body was made to feel different kinds of emotions, including pain and sadness. And there's nothing wrong with that. In fact, it's a good thing that your body is reacting to different situations of life. That just means that you're still alive and aware. What's better is you still have that chance to change your life and make it better. If you no longer feel anything at all or cease to feel anything, you're bound to be dead - a walking dead, that much worse.
I know that whatever you're going through right now is not simple. There's nothing easy when it comes to going through difficult situations. But believe me, it's not as worse as you think. In fact, whatever problems you have, may be a good help for you in the future. You just have to figure out what lessons it wants to teach you and then apply them to your life. Just don't dwell on the bad side of the problem. If you're hurt, cry it out, but don't linger on the pain and don't let the sadness overcome you.
I know how it feels because I have also been in a situation like yours. Well, we may not have experienced very the same dilemma, but as a human being, I've also been through tough situations where I almost gave up. But I never let my situation ate me up. I've thought about my life, my family, and the many opportunities out there that were made up for me, and that gave me hope.
If you'll only give yourself a chance, you'll see how amazing the world is. Whatever it is that you're currently struggling through, whether it's about that grade you wanted to achieve in school, that job you're longing to have, that dress you wanted to buy, that house you're dreaming to have, or that person you wanted to be with, don't lose heart. Always remember that as long as you live, there's always hope. Tomorrow is another day!
